Salads
Salad is not a side dish – it’s the main dish! But if you’ve gotta convince people of that you’ll have to try hard and make it interesting. So play a little, cut things up into nice shapes, arrange the veggies in a funny way – entertain yourself and your salad will be whole lot less boring.
Generic Salad recipe:
- a bunch of leafy vegetables (spinach, kale lettuce)
- some non-sweet fruits (tomatoes/peppers/cucumbers)
Toss it all up or arrange as you wish, add salt & pepper or dressing to taste.
- Lettuce, mushrooms, red onion and tomato
- Tomatoes, red onion and parsley
- Vege Dream – Beatroots, carrots, tomatoes, sprouts and walnuts
- Guacamole with tomatoes and spices
- Spinach and cherry tomatoes
- Tomato/Cucumber & Grated Carrots
- Cucumbers and cherry tomatoes
- Tomato/cucumber and parsley
- Mickey D’s Side Salad
- Peeled baby cukes
- Dill-icious Salad
- Tomatoes, cucumber, parsley

your vege dream reminds me of something i do. i grate up raw beets, raw yams (or sweet potato, but i think yams are better in this) and raw carrot and then just put it all in a pan and add a little water, and just let it cook! stir it around occasionally so it doesn’t stick, but it’s super delicious in the end.
(umm i cant remember if you’re just a vegan or a raw vegan… and if you are raw too… well it might not taste that bad raw?? but i know for a fact it’s sweeter cooked
)
Well, I eat as raw as I can, but I cook what has to be cooked
… I think the salad I had at the restaurant was raw. It was also the first time I had raw beets, but it was totally sweet and crunchy (the tomatoes helped the sweetness too, I guess). But your’s sounds good too, I’ve gotta try it
